Ramanavami was celebrated on Sunday in a city with devoted enthusiasm. There was a permanent queue of devotees who created a line to different temples dedicated to Lord Rama and offered prayers.
Sri Rama Mandira in Jayanagar, Vidyaranayapuram, New Kantharaja Urs Road, Maruti Temple in Gangotri, etc., were decorated with flowers and special prayers were made from the dawn.
In addition to the temple visits, devoted to butter milk and panace as part of local customs were dedicated. Such scenes were visible in different parts of the city and throughout the district.
Music concerts
Ramanavami is also when music concerts are carried out by various organizations, including Bidaram Krishnappa Rama Mandira, a legacy building. This year the 109th annual music festival in the temple will be hosted.
Sri Ramabyudhaya Sabha at Sriramplet on the Vinobha road will host 135. In addition to everyday worship and special rituals, a music program and cultural events will take place in Alamman Karera and Kuntitagara Sanha.
The inauguration took place on Sunday and cultural events, the music program and celebrations will take place until 13 April and will end with Seetha Kalyan.
