At a time when a continuous effort to create a difference between different religions for political gains by the interests, Ramanagar residents in Hubball sent a clear report on social harmony by joint celebration by Ganeshotsots, which kept their religion aside.
Over the past four years, the members of Christian and Muslim communities have been celebrating together with Hindy and actively involved not only in rituals and programs, but also had different responsibilities during the celebrations.
Thanks to the coordinated efforts of equally -minded people, Ganesh Pandals now in Ramanagar from 11. The 11 years have reduced to one big pandal when all people joined the festival celebration with Bonhomia.
Members of Christian and Muslim communities not only participate in the rituals of Puja, but also participate in the distribution of pigs during bulk feeding and also agree on festivals.
According to the office of the office of the city council Ganesh Mandal and Hubballi-Dharwad Santosh Chalavadi, all this happened because of the efforts of equally minded people in all communities.
“Over the past 30 years, Ganesh’s public celebrations have appeared in Ramanagar. Idoles Ganesh were installed in 11 locations, which was subsequently used to create and other problems. Four years ago we all decided to have one Ganesh for one location and for this purpose, it was created,” he said.
“In fact, Ramanagar is like a mini-India. We have people who speak different languages, including Kannada, Urda, Konkani, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and others.
During the 11 -day public celebration of the festival, members of various communities and religions are responsible for mass feeding on different days.
Reeta Ballari agreed with him and said that everyone was celebrating the festival together and every day during the festival everyone contributes with their piece.
Anwar Pathan, who participates in the rituals of Puja, said he carried out mass feeding from his mosque and Jamat every year. “There is no difference in religion. Ramanagar is a model for municipal harmony,” he said.
The all-relay committee, which carries out public celebrations, has as President Chandrakanth Yadav, while Seelan Xavier and Anwar Pathan are vice-chairmen. Other wearers of the office form people of all religions.
