Children below 12 years of age will have free entry to the century-old Mysuru Zoo on Saturday on the occasion of Karnataka Rajyotsava.
Admission to the zoo will be free from 8:30 a.m. to noon, according to a zoo press release.
However, parents and teachers accompanying children must purchase tickets to tour the zoo grounds, the report added.
For many years, children have had free admission to the zoo on the occasion of Children’s Day.
