As a real architect of the Indian System Panchayati Raj and the decentralization of the District Congress Committee (DCC), Joseph Tanet said only Rajiv Gandhi. In connection with Rajiv Gandhi Martyrdom, organized here by Rajiv Gandhi Panjayati Raj Sangathan on Wednesday, held a seminar called “Rajiv Gandhan and Decentralization of Power”.
Mr. Tanet emphasized the tireless efforts of Rajiv Gandhi to ensure the participation of people in management and development planning. “He was constantly working to realize the vision of Mahatmy Gandhi about a gram of swaraj,” Tajet said, credited to the former Prime Minister of the foundations of local government in his modern form.
Rajiv Gandhi Panjayati Raj Sangathan District President Anil Pulikkal chaired the session, while the writer and speaker PV Krishhnan Nair gave a key address and developed the legacy of Rajiva Gandhi in decentralization. The main guest was United Democratic Front District TV Chandramohan.
