The All India Democratic Students (AIDSO), which expressed its deep anxiety about the collapse of the Government School building in Rajasthan, which noticed the lives of seven innocent children, held negligence and apathy of Rajasthan’s government to public education responsible for tragedy.
In a media note published on Sunday, district secretary Aidso Tulajaram NK, he described an incident as a man created by a disaster.
“It is not a natural disaster. It is an artificial tragedy caused by the failure of Rajasthan’s government to maintain public infrastructure and ensure a safe learning environment for children,” he said, offering condemnation to surviving families and expressing solidarity with them during this difficult time.
Mr. Tulajara said that the incident emphasized the felt of infrastructure in government schools throughout the country, many of which are in a state of disrepair. “Thousands of government school buildings are in accident. Poor maintenance, insufficient infrastructure and chronic insufficient funding have changed these institutions to the death trap for the lakhs of students,” he said.
He condemned the reaction of the Central Government to the tragedy and criticized this step towards the publication of the schools that instructed the school to prepare for “extraordinary events and natural disasters” and coordinated with the authorities for the management of disasters.
“Instead of preventing these disasters, the central government asks students and teachers to prepare for them. It is outrage,” the statement said.
The organization also condemned attempts to avert the blame for students, teachers and school officials. “The main cause of the crisis is a systematic insufficient financing of government schools and against public educational policies such as national educational policy (NEP) 2020, which aims to privatize and corporate education,” she said.
The Organization Has Demanded An Impartial Judicial Inquiry Into The Rajasthan School Building Collapse and Stricte Punishment to Those Responsible, Immediate Inspection and Repair of All Unsefe Government School Buildings Across the Country Infrastructure in Public Schools, Withdrawal of Nep 2020 and formulation of a Democratic, Scientific and Pro-People Education Policy and An Immediate End to Victim-Blaming of Students and Teachers While Placing Accountability Squarely on Government for ensuring the safety of the school.
