
The woman was reportedly killed by her sister -in -law over “infertility” in the Deeg district in Rajasthan.
After murdered, the sister -in -law also tried to burn the body to cover the alleged crime.
The victim was identified as Sarla. Her half -burned body was found by the police in the village of Kakra, where she lived with her husband and sister -in -law, NDTV reported.
The woman originally came from the village of Raunija in the area of the Nagar police station and since 2005 she has been married with Ashok.
The couple had no children.
To cover the murder and look like an accident, the son -in -law tried to burn her body in their own house. Then they informed the villagers that Sarla died in a fire.
However, the villagers suspected and informed the police about the incident.

After Sarla’s family was informed, they arrived at the DEEG hospital and accused Ashoka and son -in -law of killing.
Sarla’s brother Vikrant claimed that Ashok often defeated her because she had not become a child.
Vikrant also said that the victim’s family had visited the village of Kakra several times to hit her husband for several days for good behavior to restore abuse for several days, NDTV report said.
“We didn’t even know about it. When we found out, we rushed to the kakra, but the police have already taken my sister’s body to the Deeg hospital,” he added.
Another probe is taking place.
