Ruling Congress MLA and former minister KN Rajanna on Saturday expressed doubts about the success of curbing RSS activities in public places and government schools and colleges.
He was trying to find out if the government would require Muslims to get a permit to perform namaz on the roads. Interestingly, expelled BJP MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal made a similar remark on Friday.
Mr. Rajanna, who was removed from the Cabinet a few months ago, said only those rules that can be implemented should be put in place.
