
Days after Raja RaghuvanShi’s dead body was restored, his wife Sonam and four others were booked for alleged planning of his murder, the PTI press agency reported. The couple disappeared during their honeymoon in Meghalaya. While Sonam and three others are arrested, the police are still looking for the fourth accused in this case.

These three were arrested at night raids while Sonam gave up before the police in Ghazipur Uttar Pradesh, said Meghalaya DGP and Nongrang PTI. Among the three accused, one person was detained from Uttaroše, while the other two were arrested from Indore Madhya Pradesh, DGP said.
Sonam reportedly hired the arrested men to kill his husband, Nongrang added. “The operation is still continuing to Madhya Pradesh to catch other persons involved in the crime,” she said.
Previously, Albert Pde, a tourist guide in Mawlakhiat, revealed that the couple was seen with three men on May 23, on the day they disappeared, said the PTI report.
Albert mentioned that he saw a few of over 3,000 steps with three men, heading from nongriat to Mawlakhiat around 10 May around 10 May. He said three men with a couple speak in Hindi, suggesting that they were not from the region.
