He drew a cartoon on a terrorist attack Pahalgam and a recent cricket match held between India and Pakistan, Mahashra Navnirman hay and cartoonist Raj Thackey on Wednesday (September 17, 2025). BJP strongly condemned Raj Thackey over his post.
In the cartoon shared on their social media, the victims of the Pahalgam attack are depicted on the ground, while two men try to wake them and say, “Please get up, people! We won, Pakistani lost!” One of the men wearing “ICC” clothes is considered a reference to Jay Shah, Chairman of the International Criket Council. Next to him stands a man reminiscent of Amit Shah, showed his hands and stood quietly. The cartoon contains a question in the background: “Who actually won? Who actually lost?” In his post, the cartoonist used hashtags Pahalgam, Kashmir, BCCI, ICC, Asia Cup, India vs Pakistan, cricket.
On Wednesday (September 17, 2025), Maharashtra hit Minister Ashish Shelar back to Raj Thackery via his cartoon. He said, “The crussian shows his art in different ways. I believe that the art of any artist should be appreciated. But if it is political, then there will have to be a political answer. I would like to remind Raj Thackey what the Sindoor spoke after the Sindoor operation.
The cartoon comes after India won in the recent Asia Cup match that played against Pakistan. Several political parties opposed the cricket match looking for an action against terrorists. Cousin and Shiv hay (Uddhav Thackeryy previously asked how blood and cricket could flow together and look for an action against Pakistan for terrorist acts for terrorist. His son Aaditya Thackey killed BJP and claimed that the match is played only for monetary reasons.
