
Several flights from Chhattisgarh’s Raipur Airport were canceled on Thursday morning due to a non -functional navigation system, allegedly caused by lightning.
The ground radio navigation system, the court (Doppler VHF Omnidictiontal Range) helps the plane to determine their location and direction with respect to the goal.
The clerk said the flights were diverted to various nearby airports on Wednesday evening due to damage to the courtyard of the Swami Vivekananda airport. On Thursday morning, however, many flights were canceled due to failure.
In his statement, KK Lahre, director of KK Lahre, said: “Because of the non -functional airport navigation system, many years from the airport of Swami Vivekananda in Raipur have been canceled since the morning.”
“Operating work is being carried out and repairs are underway,” Lahre added.

“My flight was supposed to be scheduled to take off at 7:55 pm … I was informed around 12 midnight that the flight was canceled. When we came to the airport, there was a huge hurry. I was supposed to reach Calcutta at 9:25, but now I achieved 1:00,” he said.
