“The downpour has settled throughout Mumbai and some parts of the city are already facing a delay on the roads. If you are traveling to the airport, we recommend starting a little earlier than usual and checking your flight information about our application or website,” Indigo said in an official X platform.
The airline also assured its passengers that airport employees are in standby and are available to help them ensure a smoother travel experience in the middle of rains.

Spicejet Travel Advisory
The Indian low -cost carrier, Spicejet, also acknowledged that the airport in Mumbai is experiencing air traffic overload on Monday, which may have a chance to influence subsequent departures and arrival flights.
The airline also recommended that its passengers check their flight status for any changes or delay due to transport overload.

Akasa Air Travel Advisory
Akasa Air also announced that it expects operation and overload on the way to the airport in Bombai will affect passenger travel time. The airlines operator therefore recommends that its passengers plan to travel in advance for the next time to reach the airport in time.
“Due to strong precipitation in certain parts of bombai and Goa, we expect slow moving traffic and overload on the airport roads. To ensure a smooth travel experience, we ask you to plan additional time to get to the airport in time,” Akasa Air said in social media on X platform.

Air India incident in Mumbai
