With an intense southwest monsoon, Bengaluru experienced more than two magic of rain on Sunday, disrupted traffic and caused 17 incidents in the city, according to Bruhhat Bengalur Mahanagar Palike (BBMP).
Morning showers combined with a visit to Narendry Modi in the city led to disruption in medium and southern Bengalur. When the rain took up the evening, almost all the main intersections, especially in the central business district (CBD), were used by operation.
The commuters using the Hebbal route faced suffering, with more than ten places that experience heavy floods.

BBMP data showed that 17 trees were eradicated and 32 branches were reported. This meant the third consecutive day of such incidents. More than five two laps parked on the streets were damaged due to tree bats and branches.
Traffic jam

“They dug the drain mud and left huge hills on the roads that emit the disgusting odor. Our businesses suffer and the smell is unbearable,” said Karthik, a trader on the Ejipura road.
Traders remain in the dark when the pile of drain mud will be removed, although it is expected to be intensified in the coming days. IMD predicts that Bengalur will get a rain for another five days, while the southwestern monsoon brings light to a slight shower to the Southern Karnataka interior during this period.
