
Three people were killed and more than 100 were rescued after heavy rain launched lightning floods in parts of Ramban District in Jammu and Kashmir soon on Sunday, the officials said. With the latest deaths, five people lost their lives in the rain -related incidents in the Jammu region in two days.
“There was heavy hail in the Ramban area, several landslides and fast winds, including areas surrounding the city of Ramban,” said the Minister of the Union and Udhampura Jitendra Singh in post X.

Massive damage
The government official said there was massive damage in the Ramban district due to heavy rain, cloudbursts, wind winds, landslides and hail.
