
The Bengalur City City Police is looking for a 34 -year -old superintendent at the Divisional Railway Manager’s Office, who is on the run after allegedly sexually harassed a female colleague and tried to kill her after refusing her proposal for marriage on June 13th.
On the basis of their complaint, the police registered a company against Munawwar Pasha on Saturday and accused him of Section 351 (Criminal intimidation), 352 (intentional insults with the intention of provoking a violation of peace) and section 65 (sexual harassment) Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhit (BNS) (BNS).
According to the complainant, the accused has been working with her in the same office for the last 15 years and reportedly harassed her with marital proposals. The victim could not bear it, filed a complaint twice – once with the Basavanagudi police and others with the Cottonpete police. The police accused the accused for interrogation, but let him go after recording a statement and commitment.
However, the defendant continued to bother her. On Friday, while the victim went to the washroom in her office, Pasha reportedly followed her and pulled her to the terrace. He continued to recover her to marriage and be aggressive in his behavior. The victim tried to escape, but the accused allegedly harassed her. In the middle of Melee the victim fell to the ground and the accused threatened to throw her out of the terrace if he disagreed with his proposal, according to the complaint.
The victim was then able to increase the alarm for help, which two other colleagues rushed on the scene and saved it. The defendant sensed trouble and managed to escape. Later, it was taken to Victoria Hospital for treatment.
