Railway officials addressed the grievances of railway pensioners during the All India Pension Adalat 2025 of Mysuru Division of South Western Railway held in Mysuru on 15 December.
According to a press release, the adalat was presided over here by Mudit Mittal, Divisional Railway Manager, Mysuru, at his office in the city.
“A total of 47 pensioners participated in the adalat. A total of 32 cases were accepted for discussion and two new cases were represented. Of these, 16 cases were removed on the spot, the remaining cases are under investigation and will be dealt with at the earliest,” the railway statement said.
Senior railway officials including Vishnu Gouda, Harshavardhan and Pruthvi S. Hullati also attended the adalat.
Parthasarathy, president of the Mysuru Railway Pensioners Association, expressed satisfaction at the speedy manner in which the grievances of the pensioners were addressed and resolved. GS Swaminathan, general secretary of the association, was also present.
Mr. Mittal assured that all pending complaints will be resolved as soon as possible.
