The leader of the congress Rahul Gandhi on Thursday (July 3, 2025) attacked the government of Modi for the death of farmers in the Mahara and said that it remains indifferent to the situation of farmers, even though they dive deeper into the debt every day.
In the paper on the X in Hindi, the opposition leader in Lok Sabha accused the government of ignoring the requirements of farmers for surrender to the loan and legal warranty at a minimum support price (SMP) for crops.
On Wednesday (July 2, 2025), the opposition members came out twice from the Mahashtra Assembly twice because of the issues of farm deaths and non -payment of fees for soy cultivators in the state.
The leader of the Vijay Wadettiwar Congress said in the Assembly that 767 farmers in Maharaštř were died between January and March this year. While 200 cases were declared incapable of assistance, questions in 194 are waiting for it, he said.

“Think about it … In just 3 months, 767 farmers (died) suicide in the Mahari. It’s just statistics? No.
Farmers are diving deeper into debt every day, because the seeds, fertilizers and diesel are expensive. “But there is no MSP warranty. When they demand surrender, they are ignored,” he charged.
“But (what) those who have Crores? Modi government easily gives up their loans. Just look at today’s news – Anil Ambani’s RS 48,000 crore SBI ‘fraud,” he said.
“Modi told her that he would double the income of farmers. Today, the situation is that the life of the farmer is half.
“This system kills farmers – quietly, but continuously, and Modi follows her show at her own PR,” said Mr. Gandhi.
Bjp it Cell Head AMit Malviya hit the X chart, claiming that 55,928 farmers died with suicide in Mahari during the 15-year NCP-Congress government.
“The policy of counting the dead is disgusting, but it is necessary to show a mirror to people like Rahul Gandhi,” said Mr. Malviya.
Before opening the mouth, Rahul Gandhi should remember the sins committed by the government of NCP-Congress during his time in the Mahari, said the leader BJP.
“First, say why 55,928 farmers (died) suicide in 15 years of the Congress-NCP (Sharad Pawar) in the Mahari,” he said.
