BRS working President KT Rama Rao accused the leader of the congress Rahul Gandhi of maintaining “conspiracy silence” over a series of BRS legislators to Congress.
Mr. Rama Rao said that while Mr. Rahul Gandhi often raises the question of “Chori’s vote” in national politics, he could not say the word against what he described as “Brazen Mla Chori” in Telangana. “It is a crime worse than the so -called voting chorus, which still talks about,” Mr. Rama Rao accused.
The BRS leader demanded that Mr. Gandhi respond to a statement of defective MLA, which, despite winning BRS inputs and later join Congress, now claims that the parties have not changed. “The role of congress in this shameless Chori shows its double standards,” he said.
Mr. Rama Rao remembered that several of these MLA were seen in congress scarves and even posed for photographs with Mr. Rahul Gandhi in Nový Delhi, images that were proudly sent to Congress leaders.
Mr. Rama Rao, who asked Mr. Rahul Gandhi, said, “If it’s not a chori, what is it? How is it slightly less serious than Chori’s vote?” The BRS leader also warned that such defects undermined democracy and erode public trust. He said that the government of Congress instead of dealing with people’s questions, indulged in the unconstitutional tactics to weaken the opposition.
