
Radha Yadav is ready to get her to return to the Indian Women’s Team as a replacement for Shuchi Upiphyay’s injury before the upcoming tour of England. The Cryt Council in India (BCCI) confirmed the change in a statement published on Thursday. Specialist in T20, Yadav join the National Party after missing recent international tasks.
According to Bcci, Shuchi was excluded after suffering the left shin injury during the forecast in the center of Excellence (COE) in Bengalur.
The Indian tour of England is scheduled for June 28, including five T20 International and three one -day international.
Radha last performed in the international cricket in December 2024, where she impressed four goals against West India at the Dy Stadium Patil in Navi Mumbai. In the women’s Premier League, however, she saw limited game time, where she appeared only in two matches.
It comes as a replacement for similar to Shuchi. The left arm spinner made 84 T20i for India, although its ODI was limited to just seven matches.
Meanwhile, Shuchi debuted during the recent tri-series against South Africa and Sri Lanka, but performed only in one match, without a goal, while admitting 59 runs in nine overs. Previously, she presented a strong home season in a one -day senior trophy and ended up as the third highest goal with 18 scalp for Madhya Pradesh.
It remains to see a 20-year-old can recover quickly and work back into the national dispute.
The Indian Women’s Team will head to England Tour on the back of the successful Tri-Series campaign in Sri Lanka, defeating hosts of 97 runs in the finals held in Colombo.
