Indian Rameshbabu Pragggnanandhaa thanked his mentor Viswanathan Anand after reaching a historical milestone to become an Indian top player. Pragg overtaken the world’s classic chess champion D Gukesh to become an Indian chess player in the Live ranking. A 19 -year -old man achieved this performance by defeating the Uzbekistani nodirbek Abdusattorov with black pieces in the last round of the Uzchess Cup Masters.

With his victory in the Masters Uzchess Cup Masters, the live rating of Pragggnanandhaa jumped to 2778.3 and pushed him in place 4 in the world ranking.
