
Indian rail transport officer (IRTS) of 1998, R. Gopalakrishnan, on Thursday assumed a fee as a divisional railway manager (DRM) division Secunderab, SCR. Before the broadcast was organized by another divisional railway director, Division Secunderabad Division.
Mechanical engineer from IIT Delhi, MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi and Ph.D. In engineering systems and design from the Singapore University and SutD (SUTD), Mr. Gopalakrishnan managed operations and commercial functions in a highly complex suburban railway system in Mumbai and led nationwide oil logistics on the railway council.
The main milestone in his career was the establishment of an Indian railway analysis unit that developed an artificial intelligence and data strategy and worked to optimize the seat capacity on reserved trains, automated freight transport terminal and included a national level to evaluate the capacity of the railway junction.
