Ravichandran Ashwin challenged the Indian team management for not using Nitish Kumar Reddy during the recently wrapped second test against West India in Delhi. India has finished sweeping a series of 2-0 above West Indies, but Nitish did not use the ball, although west Indies dough was tested.
Nitish Kumar Reddy performed XI for both tests but delivered a total of only four exceeds, All in the initial match in Ahmedabad. According to Ashwin, the management could rather play Axar Patel in the series and remember the minimum Reddy participation.

Several experts have also caused problems for optimal use of nitish in the Dilli test. It remains to find out whether India will continue to pass on the chances of Nitish in the upcoming test series of two matches against South Africa or finally give the chance to Axar Patel.
