Quantum skills course will expand job opportunities in emerging technologies: RGUKT Director KVGD Balaji

Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge and Technologies-Etcherla campus director KVGD Balaji on Friday said the Andhra Pradesh government’s quantum computing initiative will provide more job opportunities for the youth in the state. He asked the youth to participate in a mass quantum skills course launched as part of the National Program for Technology Augmented Learning, an initiative of the AP State Council of Higher Education and other academic institutions. Attended as chief guest Pragyan Tech fest organized at Avanthi’s St. Theressa Institute of Engineering and Technology at Garivida in the district.

Amaravati Quantum Valley could create nearly one million jobs by 2030. Naval Science and Technological Laboratory scientist B. Suresh Kumar and Infosys group manager K. Kishore Kumar said the software industry will continue to provide new job opportunities despite ups and downs in the sector. Avanthi Group General Secretary Muttamsetti Lakshmi Priyanka said that students hailing from rural areas can also reach the top by upskilling and taking certification courses with optimum utilization of time while studying engineering and other courses.
