The traffic police introduced a new QR code that helps citizens easily pass through various police stations and offices of higher police officers in Kozhikode.
The initiative called “Police Search engine” was completed under the Sub-Invcessor Manoj Babu (Traffic), which left service on Wednesday (April 30, 2025). He was also subjected to representatives of the police commissioner to explore the possibility of displaying it at selected locations.

Mr. Babu, who was assisted in designing and implement several innovative projects to streamline urban traffic, said the QR code was designed after the fighting that citizens faced in localization of police stations and related offices scattered in different parts of the city. By scanning the new QR code, one could exactly find a place independently and explore the interconnected Google map for navigation, he added.
