The best helper of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Yuri Ushakov, claimed that US President Donald Trump was not sufficiently informed about the actual extent of the Ukrainian-Russian conflict.
“There’s a lot that Trump says, we read it all, watch it,” Ushakov said in an interview with a journalist aligned Kremlin Pavel Zurubin, ABC news reported. “But in many ways, we conclude that Trump does not have enough information about what is really happening in connection with the confrontation of Ukrainian-Russian.”
Accusations against Ukraine
Ushakov accused Ukraine of the organization of repeated attacks on Russian cities – negotiations, which he characterized as a terrorism focused on civilians.
“Especially he (Trump) is not sufficiently informed about the massive terrorist attacks by Ukraine against the peaceful Russian city,” Ushakov said.
He said that Trump sees only one side of the conflict and in response he cannot understand the alleged restriction of Russia.
“Only knows what countermeasures we take”
According to Ushakov, Trump’s understanding is limited to Russian countermeasures without recognizing the affected goals.
“Trump only knows what countermeasures we take,” he said. “And he does not fully understand that we are attacking military institutions or military industrial complexes.”
Trump grows frustrated when Russian-Ukraine is escalating
Since President Donald Trump returned to office in January, Russia and Ukraine have increased his military offensive despite Trump’s campaign to end the war “within 24 hours”. The conflict was far from intensified, with renewed air attacks and an increase in civilian victims.
Trump’s promised breakthrough did not show up, and his tone has become more and more militant in recent weeks, both towards Russian President Vladimir Putin and towards the pace of diplomacy.
Trump: “Putin plays with fire”
On Sunday, Trump pulled himself to Putin in a post on social media and called the Russian leader “totally mad”. On Tuesday he escalated his rhetoric again and published: “Putin does not realize that if it were not for me, a lot of Russia would happen many really bad things and I mean really bad. He plays with fire!”
Notes come in the middle of the news that Trump is growing frustrated by a lack of progress in the US -led ceasefire, which could not bring the warring parties closer to agreement.
Putin’s Peace Memorandum is still waiting
After a telephone call between Trump and Putin, the Kremlin reportedly promised to deliver the Peace Memorandum. However, this document has to be publicly emerged.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenkyy chased the sincerity of Russian intentions and published on Tuesday: “They have spent more than a week about it. They talk a lot about diplomacy.
Civilians carry the onslaught of escalation
Despite the Russian claims that her strikes are limited to military targets, attacks on the Ukrainian civil infrastructure have increased in recent weeks. Drone and missile strikes destroyed residential neighborhoods and killed dozens.
