The Kremlin said on Monday (January 19) that Russian President Vladimir Putin had been invited to join US President Donald Trump’s “Peace Committee” and that Moscow was studying the proposal and hoping for his contacts with Washington.
“We are studying the details of the ‘Board of Peace’ proposal. We hope to have contacts with the US to clarify the details of it,” the Kremlin said.
Russia also issued a statement on Donald Trump’s attempts to take over Greenland from Denmark. She said the Russian government was analyzing the situation. “There’s a lot of troubling information out there,” he said.
Several countries, including India, have been invited by Donald Trump to join his ‘Board of Peace’, dubbed his own United Nations.
Under the draft charter, the board would be chaired by Donald Trump for life and would begin to deal with the conflict in Gaza and then be expanded to address other conflicts.
