Eight -year -old Sitej, who underwent treatment at Kims Hospital, Secunderabad, more than four months after injury suffered in a cliff in Sandhya Theater during the Pushpa 2 premiere, was released on Tuesday (April 29, 2025) in the evening and moved to the neurorehabilitation center, the hospital said.

The Sitej was admitted to the emergency room of the hospital on the night of December 4, 2024, in a semi -static condition with low oxygen saturation and irregular breathing. Doctors were forced to intubate and place it in support of the fan. He stayed on the fan for almost two weeks and was later placed on nasogastric feeding.
According to Kims hospital, the child now takes oral feed and no longer requires oxygen or respiratory support. “Sitej is released to the neurorehabilitation center for continuing Neurorehab services,” the hospital said.

He was moved to the Asian Rehabilitation Center for Transcabilitation in Secunderabad, which is associated with Kims. The hospital authorities stated that this would allow smooth coordination between doctors involved in its ongoing treatment.
In weeks after his hospitalization, Sitej received visitors from prominent personalities, including BRS MLA T. Harish Rao, Minister of the Union Bandi Sanjay and actors All Arjun, who visited the child almost a month after the incident. Allu Arjun even sought a special police permit to visit Sitej in the hospital.
