For this year’s Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, Odisha banned enemies in climbing cars.
The Minister of State Law Prithviraj Harichandan said that on Sunday there would be strict legal steps, including arrests, to be taken against any non -haired, which climbed to the cars during the Yatra.
Harichandan also claimed that the use of mobile phones on cars would be strictly forbidden.
“None of the non -formators will be able to climb cars. If such a person is found on the car, strong measures will be taken, including arrests. Services will also not be allowed to carry mobile phones to cars,” the Minister told reporters.
In order to ensure early completion of the rituals and maintaining discipline during the “Pahandi beating” (ceremonial procession) of the deities, the government applied for a list of servants intended to perform rituals on Rath Yatra (June 27).
“The final list will be forced strictly,” the minister said.
