The Pandjab government decided to provide skill education in business and marketing for students of class 11 and 12 at government schools since the academic year 2026-27 as part of its program “Panjaby young entrepreneurs”.
While the applicants’ score was chased by a single job, the Pandjab government encouraged students to become employment creators instead of job seekers, State Minister of Education Harjot Singh Bains said on Saturday (July 2025) and Rupnagar addressed “Business Blasters EXPO 2025”.
“We would provide all kinds of assistance as well as financial and technical (assistance) to all progressive students,” he said.
He said that 10 students led by students from government schools across the pandjab showed their business ideas in the Shark Tanks’ style of tanks in front of government leaders, industrialists, founders and educators and were successful in obtaining financial assistance to fulfill their dreams. Another 30 teams also introduced and sold their products in the exhibition stables, he added.
“The 17 MAKH investment has been carried out for the establishment of innovation laboratories, where students will now be able to develop their own products, even in cooperation with IIT,” he said.
Former Deputy Minister Dilli, Manish Sisodia, said the system of young entrepreneurs in Panjab will be a milestone in school education.
“In the future, government school students will have to present a business idea to be authorized to go through. Students have to get practical understanding and learning in the real world. Those who complete class 12 will leave with something they have created, sold and earn money.
