Sri Satya Sai District Superintendent of Police (SP) V. Ratna warned political and public groups of strict legal steps on Thursday if he found in sensitive cases in unauthorized protests and road blockades. SP stated at a meeting of the crime of SP that no attempt to disturb public peace will be tolerated. All attempts at miscreants that adopt the law into their hands during protests would be strictly solved, she added.
Referring to recent protests in Ramagiri Mandal in the background of a gangrape small girl and the resulting pregnancy, SP said that without a police permit, such protests would not be allowed. Mrs. Ratna stressed that the law would ensure justice of victims. “Detecting sensitive information during protests could damage the investigation and also damage the victims,” she said.
He has called for political and social organizations to adhere to restrictions and avoid organizing demonstrations because they would not only disrupt the law and order, but exposed victims. She confirmed that any violation of law and order and attempted inciting public emotions during tension would cause criminal prosecution.
