Main Minister Siddaramaiah claimed on Friday that public opinion was preferred to rename Ramanagar as the district of Bengaluru South.
When he talked to reporters near Helpad in Kr Nagar nearby, he said that the state government enjoyed the power to rename the district.
The government’s decision to rename the Ramanagara district as Bengaluru South was on the basis of public opinion.
When his attention was alerted to the criticism of the Minister of Trade Unions for the Heavy Industry and the HD Kumaraswamy steel that such renaming distorts history, Mr. Siddaramaiah wondered if the Minister of Trade unions considered the same when the Ramanagara district was created.
Here it can be mentioned that the Ramanagara district was first carved out of the Bengalur rural district in 2007 during the term of office of Mr. Kumaraswamy as the main minister.
Regarding the Exchange of the Directorate for Enforcement (ED) in the premises associated with educational institutions led by the Minister of the Interior G. Parameshware, Mr. Siddaramaiah said he has no objection if the Central Agency carried out an investigation to reveal black money. However, he was against ED conducting “politically motivated” investigation.
In the case of Dr. Parameshware Mr. Siddaramaiah said the Ed probe could be politically motivated. The Supreme Court also observed that ED “exceeded his limits,” he said.
Crime
When Mr. Siddarahaiah responded to the question of the murder case in the Mysur district, he said that measures were taken by law, but added that the crime was reduced in the state compared to the period when he was in power BJP.
He said the government was working to reduce the level of crime in the state.
It responds to reports about the growing cases of Covid-19 in some parts of the world and concerns about the absence of screening at airports in India, Mr. Siddaramaiaha urged the center to take steps in this respect, not to cause problems in the country.
“Gifts are wrong”
When his attention was alerted to fees filed against representatives of the main Minister DK Shivakumar and others for donating “young India”, Mr. Siddaramaiaha also tried to clarify that there was nothing wrong with it. “There is nothing wrong with donating an organization,” he said.
