Visakhapatnam District Collector and Chief Census Officer M. Abhishikth Kishore on Friday said that public cooperation is essential for the successful implementation of the first phase of Census 2027 House List, which has been launched across the district. Enumerators visit each household to collect data through a 33-item questionnaire on drinking water, sanitation, housing conditions and family information. The collector said the data would inform development planning for the next decade and urged residents to provide accurate information. He assured that the answers will remain confidential and will not affect existing social benefits.
