The leader of the opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi wrote Narendra Modim about devastation caused by floods in Pandjab and was looking for complex help.
In a letter of 16 September, Mr. Gandhi said that the provisional relief of 1,600 GBP Crore announced the “serious injustice” center of the people of Pandjab. “Estimates suggest that the state suffered a loss of at least 20,000 crore.
On Monday, the leader of the opposition was visited by the leader and party deputy in the districts of Amritsar and Gurdaspur in Pandjab, Amritsar and Gurdaspur and communicated with those who are floods affected.

“During my recent visit, I have witnessed shocking devastation and its human costs. More than four lake acres of unpeeled crops were destroyed and more than 10 lake animals died. Lakhs of people, mostly marginalized communities, lost their homes.
Mr. Gandhi said that, despite the crisis, he was exposed to the very “best humanity” and the community gathered behind those who lost everything. People opened their homes to foreigners and shared anything they had, he added.
“In their lessons, we have to assure every farmer, every soldier and every family in the panda that India stands with them. We have to connect and expand all possible support to help rebuild their future,” he added.
