The justice T. Vinod Kumar from the High Court ordered the Suryapet Police to protect the Bhargavi boiler, whose husband Vadlakond Krishn, aka Mala Bunty, was reportedly murdered above the hatred of caste.
Bhargavi, belonging to the Gowda, and Krishna, Dalit, got married. Krishna was murdered on January 26 this year, allegedly by Bhargavi family members for caste hatred, her council V. Raghunath said.
Even after the murder of her husband Bhargavi, she received the threat that she would also be excluded as her husband was killed as soon as the accused came out, the lawyer said. He argued that it was the government’s duty to protect Kith and relatives of victims in the prevention of atrocities against the planned castes and the law on planned tribes.
He claimed that even two months after Bhargavi turned to the police authorities to protect her life threat, there was no response to police officials.
