As the district gears up for the upcoming summer season, Collector N. Devidas has issued strict guidelines to ensure comprehensive preparedness and availability of clean drinking water. The Collector presiding over the District Development Committee (DDC) meeting stressed the urgent need to clean and maintain the local water resources to avoid its scarcity. In the meeting, DDC was apprised of the urgent need to address and resolve the ongoing water crises in Karunagappally and Munroe Thuruthu. Mr. Devidas instructed the concerned officials to strictly monitor the water security measures and ensure that the public does not face any hardship during the peak heat. Addressing the meeting, he also ordered to speed up the completion of the National Highways Authority of India construction work near the Karunagappally bus stand.
