
Protests against Trump “No Kings”: Mayor of Los Angeles Karen Bass said on Sunday that the night ban in the city will continue “for a few more days”. The announcement came the ninth day of the protests seen by US President Donald Trump, launched a military intervention.
Karen Bass released June 10 from 20:00 to 6:00 (local time) to stop vandalism and looting in the center of Los Angeles, the heart of protests.
Why do people protest?
People began to protest on June 6 to oppose the immigration raids that the Trump administration launched to detain undocumented migrants in the city dominated in Latino, California, AFP reported.
The gathering was mostly peaceful and was limited to the small area of the Los Angeles Center, but were spoiled by occasional and engaging violence that President Trump used as an excuse to send 4,000 National Guard and 700 Marines.

Extraordinary deployment came to protests of local officials who insisted that the situation was under control.
Mayor uncertain: “Can’t predict how many more days”
Bass said on Sunday that she hoped that the number of people “narrows” for violent incidents, AFP said.
“So I know that the prohibition will be for at least a few more days,” she said in an interview with the local KTLA news channel, adding that she couldn’t predict exactly how many more days exactly.

“We do not know how many raids will happen, we do not know the character of the raid, and every time it happens, it really generates a lot of anger in the city,” she said.
Trump does not continue, increases the effort to deport
Trump, seemingly protests that ordered the protests on Sunday, ordered the federal authorities to increase their deportation efforts, including Los Angeles, informed AFP.
Trump said on social media that agents of immigration and customs enforcement (ICE) were exposed to “violence, harassment and even threats” and ordered them to “do everything in their power” to perform mass deportations, AFP said.
Raids caused “anger and fear”
Bass also spoke of anger and fear that ice raids created in Los Angeles, emphasizing the enemy situation in the city.

“People are afraid to leave their homes,” she said, adding that the raids sometimes felt “non -distinctive”.
“These are the United States. You should not show your papers if you go to the public,” Bass said. “It’s hard for me to believe it’s focused,” she added.
La remains peaceful after protest against Trump “No Kings”
Los Angeles was mostly calm on Sunday after a massive protest a day earlier, part of the protests against Trump across the country. The gathering saw thousands of people who were based on the streets to condemn raids and military intervention, AFP reported.
A small group of people also marched around the town hall during a sunny afternoon under the alert eye of the right to enforce the right, including several women wearing bikinis and bearing signs such as “Hot Girl Summer Melt Ice”, AFP reported.
