About 50 students from the University of Hyderabad were detained by the Police Cyberabad after the opening of the protest on the eastern campus on Sunday, March 30.
The protest was against soil clearing, part of the 400 hectares of Kancha Gachibowli, which the TELANGANA government plans to auction for the development of multi-infrastructure and IT parks. Land also borders on the University of Hyderabad.
The clashes on the Varsity area encouraged a massive political line and the opposition BRS accused the police of the campaign of protesters of the students with their hair and their threshing and mentioned several reports.
“The girls cried that their clothes were torn, but ignored them and took them to the police station. About 200 people were arrested,” Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) told reporters to Chandrashek Rao.
6. On Sunday, 28 students were released from the police station Madhapur after the leaders of BRS organized a protest requiring the immediate release of all detainees, Telangana said today.
7. Defeatment of the Police Action and Union of Students of Hyderabad University claimed that they had only organized a peaceful assembly in this area. They stressed that students have a democratic right to protest and accuse the police of violent detention and “manipulate” students.
8. Telangana Main Minister A. Revanth Reddy previously rejected students’ demands and claimed that they were stimulated. He said that the land of 400 hectares falls into the IT city center and has no connection with the university.

10.
