
Chief Justice of Telangana High Court Aparajesh Kumar Singh at the virtual foundation stone laying ceremony for the court building complex in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district on Saturday.
Telangana High Court Chief Justice Aparajesh Kumar Singh on Saturday laid the foundation stone for the court complex in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district, reaffirming the judiciary’s commitment to ensure justice to every citizen as guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution.
Speaking in the conference hall of the district SP office, Chief Justice Singh said that the cornerstone of the judicial system is the protection of the fundamental rights of citizens. According to him, the effectiveness of the judiciary depends on the cooperation of all parties involved and the availability of adequate resources.
Earlier, Telangana High Court Judges Justice EV Venugopal and Justice N. Rajeshwar Rao were the chief guests at the inauguration ceremony. District Chief Magistrate CH Ramesh Babu, District Collector Rahul Sharma and SP Kiran Khare were also present.
After an interfaith prayer ceremony, the foundation stone was laid and a memorial plaque was unveiled. Speaking on the occasion, Justice Venugopal expressed happiness over the approval of a dedicated court complex for the district and hoped that setting up a court in a district with a rich historical background would help curb crime and strengthen the justice system.
Justice Rajeshwar Rao described courthouses as “temples of justice” and said the judiciary strives to ensure justice for all parties in every case. Among those present were Senior Civil Judge and District Legal Services Secretary A. Nagaraj, Chief Civil Judge SR Dileep Kumar Naik and Additional Junior Civil Judge G. Akhila.
