The proposals for Metro Rail Phase 2 (B) together with all required documents and detailed project reports (DPR) were submitted to the Union government on Saturday.
During his recent visit to Nový Delhi, Main Minister A. Revanth Reddy called on the Center to first sanction for a project permit.
Phase 2 (a) project (B) consists of three corridors – international Rajiv Gandhi airport to Bharat Future City (39.6 km) with estimated CRORE 7 168 GBP; Jubilee (JBS) bus station to Medchal (24.5 km) to be built at an estimated cost of 6,946 GBP Crore and JBS on Shamirpet (22 km) to be built at 5,465 GBP Crore.
It covers a total length of 86.1 km, including an investment of 19 579 crore.
According to the standards of the Central Government project, phase 2 (b) costs in the amount of 19 579 GBP Crore will gain a share of 5,874 Crore (30%), the share of 3,524 crore (18%); Debt from international financial institutions of 9 398 GBP Crore (48%) and a small component of PPP 783 CRORE (4%).
