Trade unions are against
Meanwhile, the Karnataka State IT/ITes of the Union’s employees described a proposal to facilitate 12 hours of work a day (including two hours of overtime) as “modern slavery”. The Union, whose representatives attended the meeting on Wednesday, said that the amendment would allow the company to allow a system of two shifts instead of the existing three shifts.
