
The Minister of Saji Cherian Culture criticized the Central Council for Film Certification (CBFC) to reject the screening for screening for the JSK-Janaki vs State of Keral, the leading role of trade unions and actor Suresh Gopi and described it as an unfinished violation of freedom.
Cherian, who interacts here on Tuesday with Mediaperons, said, “If it is a film with the Union Minister, what can ordinary artists expect?” He said that the government is standing firmly with those in the film industry and creative fields and expanding all necessary support.
“The denial of the film -based certification is an unauthorized overlap and cannot be accepted,” the Minister said. We are determined to ensure the supporting environment for artists to work freely,” he said.
He said that Keraly’s government will continue to observe the spirit of artistic freedom and will have a barrier against censorship and intolerance.
