The Central Investigation Office (CBI) said on Thursday (12 June 2025) that he had arrested professor of the university on the northeast hill in Meghalaya’s Shillong and Guwahati based in laboratory equipment.
“N. Saha, a professor of zoology and Dean School of Life Sciences at Central University, and the Pranjal Sharma dealer was detained during a transaction involving a bribe of £ 3,43 at the University House in Guwahati,” said the Central Agency.
It was a Tip-off about a professor and sellers who allegedly participated in the “corrupt practices” for the supply of laboratory equipment and account permits, a trap was laid and both accused were “caught Ruda”.
“During the CBI investigation, Sleuths attacked the premises associated with the accused in two places and gained accusing documents,” the statement said. “The search takes place in one place,” the central agency said. “The arrested accused will be made in court in Guwahati during the day,” he added.
