The Chief Minister of Pinarayi Vijayan on Wednesday (August 27, 2025) signaled that the legislature of Congress Rahul Mamkootathial, who fights the accusations of serial sexual abuse and predatory behavior towards women, faced serious and immediate legal threat.

Without the name of the name Palakkad Mla, who suspended Congress last week from the primary party membership, Mr. Vijayan said at a press conference that sound clips signal forced to end pregnancy outside the marriage of the victim’s life.
Mr. Vijayan refused to comment when he asked if he had intelligence about the identity and position of the victims or whether the police received a complaint.

Mr. Vijayan said that the accusation that appeared in the public domain was the tip of the iceberg. He noted that the crimes suggested a serial nature. He said that (Mr Mamkootathily)) mere suspension of the party and debarization by the legislative congregation (CLP) does not deserve the opposition from the guilty of protecting the usual perpetrator.
Mr. Vijayan chose the leader of the opposition VD Satheesan for criticism. He said that the accused man owed his sequel (as the legislature of Palakkad) to Mr. Satheesan and those who were in orbit.
Several leaders of the congress publicly expressed their dismay. However, Congress seemed to be trying to accept a consistent and ethically healthy attitude against the perpetrator, he said.
Mr. Vijayan said Mr. Satheesan seemed to seemed and poisoned. “His explosions and threats to attack the government and the bombs are merely,” he said.
