Meanwhile, the death of five patients during the evacuation process caused controversy when some of their family members and T. Siddique, Mla, claimed that they lost their lives after inhalation smoke. The deceased were Surendran, 59, a native of Vadakary, Gopalan, 65, a native of West Hill in Kozhikode, Gangadharan, 70, a native of Meppayyur, all in Kozhikode, NASEER, 44 years.
According to the accused, the authorities decided to take a post of mortal research of bodies on May 3. According to sources, the preliminary autopsy report of the gangadharan, goopalana and Surendran ruled out the possibility of smoke to enter the lungs. These three reportedly had existing critical health problems. NASEERA consumed poison and was also in poor condition. The hospital authorities claimed that all four were to support the fan and were exported from the building before the smoke absorbed the space. The gang was brought dead to the hospital.

After exploring CCTV and other documents, they also ask about the causes of the focus.
Mrs. George claimed that the exact cause of the incident would only be known after a detailed investigation. MRI and UPS are maintained by a private company. The machine had a warranty period until 2026 October. A machine’s functioning was sought from the company.
The Minister said that 151 patients were shifted during the evacuation process. A total of 114 was moved to another department at Medical College Hospital and 37 in other hospitals. Steps would be taken to restore services in the PMssy block in three days. A temporary emergency department was established at the Government General Hospital on Kozhikode Beach. The previous Casualty Department at Medical College Hospital, which was moved to the PMSSy block some time ago, will be re -equipped for now, she added.
