For the second consecutive day, police reconstructed the crime scene as part of the investigation into the murder of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) former assistant security guard and security officer Y. Satish Kumar along the railway tracks between Juturu and Komali stations near Tadipatri in Anantapur district on Sunday (Nov 16, 2025).
Investigators on Saturday (November 15) reconstructed the site with one body dummy, however three dummies were thrown from a moving train near where Satish Kumar’s body was found on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the police were verifying the details of the passengers who were traveling in the A1 Rayalaseema Express bus on which Satish Kumar was traveling on Thursday midnight.
During his tenure as AVSO, Satish Kumar caught a volunteer stealing foreign currency during counting in Parakamani, but later settled in the Lok Adalat after the case was disposed of. The case was later reopened and is being investigated by the CID. Satish Kumar was on his way to Tirupati to depose before the CID when he died under mysterious circumstances.
