The Syro-Malabar Church condemned the group’s efforts, claiming to be the Church champions, protest against it against him “manipulation” and “abuse” Archbishop Joseph Pamplany, vicar of the chief archbishop Ernakulam-English Archdiec.

The group claimed in a statement issued by its leader Mathai Muthireenthi and Joseph P. Abraham that Marplany tried to protect priests whose actions demanded Ouster from the church composition.
A group of Synod supporters said they boldly joined to resist the rebels against the united Mass, but their love for the church was questioned, the leaders of the movement said.
The spokesman said those who criticized Mar Pamplany must realize that concessions that prolong the vicar of the chief archbishop in an effort to end the concern of the mass question was allowed by the Synod itself. The Archbishop must be given time to achieve peace, and before then wait patience, the statement has referred to the group.
