Police in Pandjab on Friday (August 8, 2025) arrested two people, including a juvenile, after pro-Khalistan slogans appeared in three places in Amritsar City.

Director of the forbidden Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) Gurpatwant Singh established a Virgin for the law in the social media video, the police said.
The AMRITSAR Commissioner has executed the case of graffiti, while the arrest of two accused persons, including a minor, within 24 hours, said Pandjáb DGP Gaurav Yadav.
The slogans appeared in three places in Amritsar City on the interference on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The arrests were identified as Jashanpreet Singh (22), Dargabad resident in Batale and a 17 -year -old boy, DGP said.
He said that a preliminary investigation revealed that both arrests were in contact with foreign Shamsher Singh alias Shera Maan, who ordered them to act according to instructions from the Virgin.
The duo carried out the law after receiving instructions and proposals through Snapchat in the Social Media, but the promised payment has never been made, DGP said.
He added that further investigation is underway.
Meanwhile, the police commissioner (CP) Amritsar Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said they were both lured in the spray of pro-Khalistan slogans in exchange for cash rewards that were never delivered.
The spacecraft revealed that Jashanpreet, along with a smaller spray from Batala and took graffiti, later shared photos of vandalism with Shera Maan as evidence, he added.
In this respect, three separate firs were registered in the relevant sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhit (BNS) and the prevention of confusion of the Act on Property at the Canton of Police Stations, Division-A and Civic Lines, he said.
