Prize for scientists

Reshma VR Nair, Project Scientist at the Center of Excellence in Nutraceuticals, Bio360 Life Sciences Park, has been selected for the prestigious Dr. Hisham Endowment Award 2026 by Kerala Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Reshma completed her work on ‘Phytochemical Investigation and Biological Activity Studies of Humboldtia unijuga Bedd’ at KSCSTE – Jawaharlal Nehru Tropical Botanic Garden and Research Institute (JNTBGRI). Her significant contributions to phytochemical research and the study of the biological activities of this medicinally important plant have earned her recognition.

The award of Dr. The Hisham Endowment Award 2026, which includes a gold medal, certificate and cash prize, will be presented by A. Jayakrishnan, former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kerala during the award ceremony to Dr. Hisham Endowment Award and Oration Function on September 11 at University College, Thiruvananthapuram.

Dr. KV Radhakrishnan, Scientist G, CSIR-NIIST will deliver the oration on the occasion. Hisham Endowment Oration 2026.
