Priya Sachdev Kapura on Wednesday, October 15, shared a honest birthday post for her late husband and industrialist, Sunjay kapur and quoted a verse from Bhagavad Gita. The post, which contained a video of Sunjay’s life, came in the middle of the ongoing legal battle with his two children from his former wife Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor.
Sunjay, 53, former chairman of the Major Son Blw Precision Forgings (Sona Comstar), died on June 12, 2025 while playing the pole at the Polo Club, Windsor Great Park, Virginia Water in Surrey.
At the time of his sudden death, the club said that Kapura died after “became unfortunate” while playing in the match on the lawn Smith. Some reports referred to a bee sting that could cause anaphylactic shock, causing a heart attack.

Here’s what Priya Sachdev said in the post:
“No matter which great person performs, others.
She said Sunjay lived according to these words and led with kindness and courage.
“You lived these words without having to speak them. You led with kindness, not a command. You built with courage, not pride. You gave without expectation because giving your nature,” Priya said.
She also wrote, “I watched you move with storms with grace, carry loads with peace and turn every challenge into purpose.”
Priya said Sunjay had never spoken of faith; “He lived”. “You believed that you didn’t report.”

Priya, who addressed the contribution to her deceased husband, said she felt his presence beside her. “Even now your presence feels like a quiet power beside me. In the laugh of our son. In the walls you built with a vision. In peace of evenings where I feel your peace.”
She said that Sunjay Kapur was the biggest act in which he loved – “selflessly and completely”. “It is said that the big man’s action action is controlled by the world, but for me, your greatest act, as you loved, was selfless and completely.”
“Some souls don’t go; they are expanding. You are everywhere, but still here. My Sunjay, I know you’re watching me,” she said, closing the post “happy birthday, j”

About the legal battle with Karishm’s children:
Children Karishma Kapoor, Samira Kapur and Kiaan Raj Kapur, challenged their alleged will and were looking for shares in their assets, supposedly worth £30 000 crore. The children claimed that the will presented in court was created and devised.
The priya in the meantime reported the court that they had already received £1,900 crore from family trust.
