On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Cholapuram gangaicon issued a thousand-rule coins that set out “1,000. The anniversary of the naval expedition of Emperor Rajendra Chola”.

R. Komagan, chairman of the GangaikondachoPuram Development Council Trust, submitted for the release of the coin. He even designed a coin and sent it to the center. His proposal was accepted and the coin was released. The coin is engraved with the image of the emperor on a horse with a boat as a background.
