The Karnataka Office for Examination (Kea) decided that admission to postgraduate architecture programs (March) in the state will now be based on the score of the postgraduate entry test at the national level in architecture (Pgeta) performed by the Council of Architecture.
Until now, the Kea has carried out its own entrance examination (PGCcet) and allocated the seats based on the score from this test. Since this year the rule has changed; Candidates must now appear for the national level test to participate in the local admission process, said the CEO of Kea H. Prasanna in a press release.
Last year, 136 seats were available for this course and 127 candidates were used. However, he added only 28 candidates, he added.
